Lodur Tools

As an administrator of a voluntary fire brigade I am using Lodur as administration too. Lodur is (in Switzerland) rather wide-spread now and offers almost anything in respect of fire brigade’s administration. Nevertheless there are points which might be improved. Thus, I took this as a chance to introduce myself in the web development with Vaadin.

Currently there are two free accessible tools:

• Fire Fighter Services-Export to Excel The Excel file can be printed, cut into pieces and glued directly into the fire fighter’s books (“Dienstbüchlein”).
• Year Program Export With this tool you can export the fire brigade’s year program to an ics file (iCalendar-Format). Furthermore you can store this file immediately within the Internet. By means of this each fire fighter can bind the year program into his/her electronic calnder. If the year program changes you only have to redo the export. (In contrast to the case if you import the ics file.)
